BMBI is so fortunate to have many caring and inspiring volunteers, who help shape the future leaders of our community. It is with great pride that we introduce to you and congratulate one such volunteer, Rick Depriest, who has been a coach with Brampton Minor Baseball Inc. for the past 33 years.

Recently, one of the many players Coach Depriest has coached, nominated him for the Toronto Dominion Bank and Toronto Blue Jays MVP Spotlight award. Much to everyone’s delight within the BMBI family, Coach Depriest’s submission one the award. As a result of this acknowledgement, both the player and Coach Depriest won four Blue Jays tickets, a VIP Rogers centre experience, which includes a behinds the scenes tour and viewing the Jays batting practice, a multitude of Blue Jays paraphernalia, and best of all, Coach got to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Blue Jays home game on Saturday, October 1st vs the Boston Red Sox.

Congratulations Coach Rick, this recognition of your outstanding contributions to BMBI and its members is so well-deserved. Thank you for all you do!!!
